The number on the box is a manufacturer rating from machine testing, and makers all test a little differently. That makes it a comparison tool, not a stopwatch. Here is where every line in the shop lands.

Reading the spread: everything from about 5,000 up is a multi-day-to-multi-week device for most users, and the compact 1,000-range sticks are closer to a weekend. Where you land depends entirely on how you draw, which is exactly why the table compares ratings instead of predicting your mileage.
Puff counts, asked and answered
Why did my disposable die before the rated count?
Ratings come from machine tests using short, uniform puffs. Long, slow draws use more liquid and battery per puff, so real-world counts land under the label for most people. The rating is best read as a way to compare devices against each other, not a promise of an exact number.
What is the highest puff count in the shop?
Right now that is the Snoopy Smoke 15000, manufacturer-rated at 15,000 puffs. The case starts down at 1,000 for the RabBeats RC 1000.
Are more puffs automatically the better buy?
Not automatically. Higher-rated devices are physically bigger and heavier in the pocket, and a huge count locks you into one flavor for a long time. Smaller counts let you rotate flavors more often. It is a tradeoff, not a ranking.
